Anna Hurst

Anna is a skilled dog handler and trainer. Anna is Animal Behavior College Certified, an AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator, and Pet CPR Certified. Her experience ranges from training Urban Search and Rescue canines to trained Live Find Open Area (LF) & Human Remains Detection (HRD) service dogs used by Law Enforcement Agencies.

Current Work

When not working with our Newfoundlands, Anna trains detection canines for police departments across the country as well as canines for the USDA to find contraband.

Life aside from training...

When I am not training, I am hiking in my new home of the Cascades. My life of training spilled over into the private sector and I now service Whatcom County. My sidekick and bestie, Cypress, my 4-year-old purebred black lab, a HRD canine, turned into my demo dog and the light of my life.
